1 – Flaxseed Oil

They may be small, but they are quite mighty. Flaxseed oil contains lots of omega-3s and omega-6 fatty acids, which are great for your overall heart health. They’re also known to help with your complexion, as they can act as a natural moisturizer. You can eat flax seeds to gain both benefits, or combine the oil with lotion and apply it topically to attain the latter reward. Flaxseed oil also has anti-inflammatory properties and can even help with eczema.

Use flaxseed oil for:

Irritated skin, sensitive skin, skin conditions like dermatitis

2 – Jojoba Oil

Pronounced ho-ho-ba, this oil is one of the most similar to the natural oils that humans produce. That makes this natural oil very easy for our bodies to absorb and utilize. It also contains natural vitamins, such as B and E, and minerals, like copper and zinc, that help strengthen and moisturize the skin. Though it’s technically classified as a wax, jojoba oil has as many benefits as other natural oils, and can be applied just like an oil would be.

Use jojoba oil for:

Dry skin, general skin health

3 – Olive Oil

Used since ancient Greece as a way to naturally strengthen and replenish hair and skin, olive oil has many benefits that can make your skin look and feel amazing. It’s a natural moisturizer and is highly recommended for dehydrated skin. It contains many beneficial nutrients, like omega-3s and vitamin E. Most people won’t be allergic to olive oil, but it is a heavier oil, so it’s not recommended to use on areas with or prone to acne breakouts.

Use olive oil for:

Extremely dry skin
